Incompleteness

Please note that there are still some gaps in the documentation here. I am working to address the issue and you will probably notice some changes in the coming weeks. Please bear with us, and if you have any suggestions, please let us know on the mailing list! [1]

Suggestions

We would like to know what ideas you have for the documentation. We know that many of you would like "off-line" documentation, allowing one to print off the entire manual; we are working on this.

If you have any ideas, please use one of the methods below (i.e. mailing list or IRC).

User-editing of pages/articles

We are considering the idea of allowing anyone to create accounts and create/edit pages/articles. After all, that is the idea of a wiki, right? :) More details to follow!

Getting further support

Whilst you should primarily refer to this documentation, obviously not everything has been covered here (yet). As a result, there are other ways of obtaining the answer(s) to your question(s):

• The Win-Test mailing list should be your primary source for support. Please note there are still gaps in the documentation, but rest assured, we are working on it!
• You can often find the Win-Test team idling in the Win-Test IRC channel on the Blitzed IRC network. If you do not have an IRC client installed, you can use this web-based client, which requires no installation of any software.

• Loading contest objectives
• Installing contest-specific databases
  How to install contest-specific databases for exchange guessing

During-contest specifics

• Single-op contesting
  • SO2R specifics
    • Learning the second radio window
    • Using the 'shift binds second radio' option
      This feature changes some key assignments in Win-Test
    • Win-Test and the EZMaster
      • Setting up the EZMaster for use with Win-Test
      • Using 'advanced SO2R' mode and setting up scenarios
• Multi-op contesting
  • Using message gabbing
  • Passing multipliers between stations
  • Understanding the status window
  • If you need to delete a QSO during the contest
    Do not use the 'delete QSO' feature
