This is about how to configure Win-Test.

One-time configuration

Things which need to be configured once only, rather than on a per-contest basis:

• Interface configuration
  Instructions on setting up your rig, CW, SO2R interfaces etc
• RTTY configuration
  Instructions on setting up WinTest for RTTY
• Setting up networking
  How to set-up the Win-Test networking in a multi-op environment

Pre-contest configuration

A description of what one needs to undertake prior to the start of each contest with Win-Test:

• Creating a new log for the contest
  • Also how to open an existing log and enabling automatic loading of a log on Win-Test start
• Configuring Digital Voice Keyer & CW messages
• Positioning windows and setting fonts
  • Interfacing HamCAP
• Loading contest objectives
• Installing contest-specific databases
  How to install contest-specific databases for exchange guessing
• Setting up DX cluster access
  • Via telnet
  • Via packet radio (TNC)
